Silybum Marianum is a herb belong to the Silybum of the Compositae. The main active component Silybin A+B enables it to exhibit antioxidative and anti-inflammatory effects.

Features and benefits:

Anti-oxidation and anti-wrinkle: The phenolic hydroxyl group of Silymarin can scavenge free radicals, resist lipid peroxidation and inhibit the ROS-induced skin cancer and skin aging.

 

Anti-UV damage: Silybin can reduce or prevent the ultraviolet radiation-induced immunoreaction, oxidative stress, inflammation, DNA damage and apoptosis induction.

 

Anti-inflammation: Silybin’s anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer effect may be connected with its ability to inhibit NF-kB.

 

Applications:

Recommended for anti-wrinkle products, anti-ageing products, anti-inflammatory products, soothing products, etc.

Suitable for lotion, gel, essence, cream, etc.
